Some Trousers Basics:
- Trousers are meant to be worn around your waistline, not your hips. Your waistline is around your navel.
- The rise is the space between the top of the waistline to your crotch.
- The rise should be adjustable for a better fit.
- Your trouser waistband should not rollover your belt.
- A french fly helps maintain the good drape of your trousers.
- Trousers should never have “saddle bags.”
- The length of your trousers should extend to your shoes and have a slight “break” on them.
- Depending on your preference, trouser cuff thickness can vary between 1” -1 ½” .
