Shlomo Kantrowitz founded Scott Laurence in his hometown of New Haven, CT in 2005, with one simple goal in mind: creating exceptional custom clothing for the exceptional man.

Prior to forming Scott Laurence, he had created and ran a successful e-commerce website exclusively for the “Big and Tall” man for several years.

The idea for a custom clothing business was actually suggested to him by several clients of the e-commerce website, to provide custom clothing for them after being dissatisfied with the fit of the off the rack clothing.

Utilizing his expertise in tailored clothing combined with today’s man wanting to distinguish himself via fashion, Shlomo took advantage of an an opportunity to provide men with custom clothing that’s personalized to their own unique style and tastes. 

Shlomo is dedicated to making everyone feel as though they are part of his extended family. When you leave, you will not only look good, you will feel good.

Shlomo has been quoted such diverse publications as the “LA Times” and “Corporate Meetings and Incentives” to name a few.

A native of New Haven, CT, Shlomo graduated from the Rabbinical College of America in Morristown NJ and has successfully completed his Rabbinical graduate studies in Brooklyn NY.

Shlomo resides in New Haven, CT. and is actively involved on the boards of several Jewish organizations.
